Building upon her skills in Community development, project management and the empowerment of marginalised groups, Debbie Roberts set up EPIC in 2008. Based in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire the company is able to provide services throughout the wider Midlands region and beyond.
Whether it is working with a community group to develop and set up projects or undertaking individual work with groups to empower them be able to influence and shape the better delivery of public services.
EPIC has a membership group which includes partners from a variety of agencies and also community members. This group ensures that there is a true `bottom up approach’ to any work undertaken by EPIC and ensures that people and their wellbeing are kept at the heart of this work.
EPIC is a Social Enterprise and actively encourages and supports people to understand the notion of a `social business` and also to explore this option for others wanting to deliver services within communities.
